SoCS — I Can Do It

B94BC538-82BE-4A48-B0C1-52CF3C2E55BEI can do it.
I know I can do it.
I’m pretty sure I can do it.
At least I think I can do it.

Can I be totally candid with you?

What if I can’t do it?
Will it really matter whether or not I can do it?
Will it make a difference if I can’t do it?
Will people think less of me if I can’t do it?

It can turn into a scandal if I can’t do it.
That can make some of those who think I can do it
Become cantankerous if I can’t do it.

Can I be totally candid with you?

I don’t think I can do it.
I’m pretty sure I can’t do it.
I know I can’t do it.
I can’t do it.

Written for Linda G. Hill’s Stream of Consciousness Saturday prompt. The challenge is to use the word “can” in our posts.

I guess one might call it a poem. I think it’s just a bunch of sentences that end in “do it.”

It seemed like a funny song to me.

Honest. Real. I’m going to read it from the bottom up now.
