Truthful Tuesday — Dead Links

Frank, aka PCGuy, has published another one of his Truthful Tuesday posts. This week Frank wants to know what we do about dead links. He asks…

When you come across dead links, either in your existing posts or in comments on your blog, do you try to fix or delete them, or do you just let them be, and why?

I rarely look back at my old posts except when I’m hunting for one to use for my Flashback Friday posts. If I happen to find a dead link, be it a YouTube video or a link to an article or to another post, I’ll try to fix it if I can. But if whatever it is I was linking to is no longer available, I’ll typically just remove the link.

If someone comments on one of my posts and has a link in their comment that is invalid, I’ll just let it be, since I didn’t originate the link, the commenter did.

MLMM Photo Challenge — The Nurse

When I first met her she told me that she was a nurse. Well, that’s what I thought she said, anyway.

But it turned out that what she said was that she likes to nurse.

And what she meant by “likes to nurse” was that she liked it when I would put my mouth upon her breast and suckled on her nipple while she called me her little baby boy.

Sure, it was a bit bizarre in perhaps a fetish-like way, but truth be told, I didn’t mind at all.

In fact, I rather enjoyed it.

Although I did find it somewhat annoying when she would try to burp me afterwards.

FOWC with Fandango — Meme

FOWCWelcome to January 19, 2021 and to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt.

I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (US).

Today’s word is “meme.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. You will marvel at their creativity.
