E is for Egomaniac

15740423-3A5A-4483-99F8-2AB490780F84Yes, I know. Another A to Z Challenge rant about Donald Trump. I promise you that tomorrow my F-word post won’t be a rant about Trump. In the meantime, though, let’s talk about what an egomaniac Donald Trump is.

Egomania is a preoccupation with one’s self and applies to anyone who follows one’s own ungoverned impulses and is possessed by delusions of personal greatness and feels a lack of appreciation.

So, what about someone who puts his name on everything he owns? And who tells you how rich he is all the time? And who tells you how great he is, that he knows the best words, makes the best deals, has a big brain, is really smart, is a genius, but not just a genius, a “stable genius”?

How about a man who claims that he has accomplished more than any other president in history, knows more than the generals, knows more about taxes than anybody else in the history of the world?

A man who says he is the least racist person you’ll ever meet, who respects women more than anyone else, who claims that nobody knows the system better than he does, that nobody knows politicians better than he does, that nobody builds better walls than he does?

A man who would give himself an A-plus and who’s ego is so fragile that he must hit back at anyone who criticizes and admonishes him?

    i’m shocked! SHOCKED, I tell you! I would never have called this at all. And my bookie owes me, but the odds against you coughing up another Donnie clot were so short I didn’t make any real money anyhow.

    It’s good to have a monomaniacal fixation, though. Keeps you out of trouble out in the larger world.

    I haven’t lived in the States for over three years and get to talk politics which a much broader worldwide perspective now. It’s been quite interesting. Trump is always at the forefront of any discussion about America.

    I am at Transformed Nonconformist. I usually write humor pieces, but I am getting serious this month. I’m writing about people who have deeply impacted my life.
