What Will It Take?

32654DAC-CA88-4674-9F3F-3373A7640313.jpegI wonder how many Trump voters are feeling remorse for having put their hopes and faith in Donald Trump. Are they experiencing any sense of frustration for having fallen for his con?

And what about the feckless, unscrupulous Republicans in Congress who, knowing that he’s a liar and a con artist who is a danger to our country and to society, continue to partner with him and give him cover? Do they seriously believe, all evidence to the contrary, that he did not conspire with the Russians in order to steal the election?

In what alternative universe do these lemmings reside? Are they blind to the narcissism of the forlorn old man who sits alone at his empty desk in the Oval Office? When will they get up off their fat, complacent asses and on their feet and say “enough is enough”? When will his next set of irrational executive orders be his last orders?

What will it take to end this chaos? What will it take to remove this menace, who prefers dealing with the Kremlin and with China than with the US Congress, from office? What will it take to restore sanity to our nation. What will it take to make America great again?

If Congress (both the House and the Senate) could come to an agreement with two-thirds understanding, it wouldn’t matter what Trump thinks (although he could still claim that his temper tantrum should extend to declaring a state of emergency).

forlorn? I think not – frantic, manic, deranged, demented, dangerous – forlorn? Not. I know you had to use that word, but isn’t there a flea on the rug it could apply to? I’m sure even they’d want to get out from under …

People don’t like to admit they’re wrong, so instead they will blame someone else. Note how Trump’s supporters don’t blame him for the shutdown, but instead pile on the Dems for not giving him a “measly” 5B, when you know they’d scream in horror if anyone proposed a measly $5B go to helping people.

From what I see the Republicans are all singing the same song, backing Trump and blaming the shutdown on the Democrats, they don’t know any other tune.

You know, there’s such a huge amount of stupidity sweeping the nation, it’s hard to tell if anyone even realizes what they’ve done.

They’ll eventually realize it, but by then it will be too late.
