I did not watch Donald Trump’s State of the Union address last night. Why not? Because he lies and he’s a moron and it would have been a total waste of time.

I’m glad you resisted. One of my friends called last night and said she was about to watch the address so we hung up. She texted me a few minutes later and said she had to flip the channel, unable to watch.

I didn’t watch it either I just judge by the facts, the economy is working, he is against killing babies on their birthday unlike the other side and to me, that means much. When I voted for him it was the lesser evil and I knew I was not voting for a Saint so I have learned to overlook much. I did see a clip of when he spoke of our freedom, Bernie Sanders looked upset and at that moment I was assured my vote was cast for the good of America. Just another plus; if he lied about anything, I didn’t catch it yet it must have been hidden in his hope for America.

“he is against killing babies on their birthday…” no, but he’s fine with imprisoning young, brown babies in wire cages. For what it’s worth, I am decidedly pro choice, but I do not support “late-term abortions.” You didn’t vote for a saint. You got that right. You voted for a con artist, a liar, a cheater, a misogynist, a narcissist, a racist, a buffoon, and a traitor who is doing Russia’s bidding. What he is doing is not for the “good of America.” What he is doing is destroying America…and our planet!

So are you talking about when they are BORN? Because the Left is not for that either, it’s actually called “Murder”, most people frown on that one. It’s a pity you keep overlooking things to satisfy yourself. Overlooking other babies dying in detentions centres doesn’t make you a good person either.

I tried to watch with the sound off, unfortunately his face is just as disturbing as his words. I did catch the Democratic women in white standing and cheering USA when 45 tried to take credit for so many women in Congress. Pretty impressive, The women.

Better to wait for fact checkers to go through what he said and read it in the paper. I watched some with sound off and NY Times fact checking, but it was a waste of time. His expressions and mannerisms are those of someone with some kind of mental problem.

I read the transcript. I don’t like listening to speeches, from anyone. Naturally everyone who hates Trump will say it was a terrible speech, but what I read was pretty good in general. That doesn’t mean he’ll act on any of it. I can’t imagine him helping to end AIDS, forex, since he’s all about cutting money for social programs. It’s nice he blathered on about unity and compromise… how long until his next nasty tweet?

I’d like to know how many transcripts record exactly what he said, versus what was intended or some form of making it look better “on paper.” Additionally, he said to read the transcript recently when he was claiming the press misquoted officials who criticized him. (What they said was on video, so I wonder what was given to him that he perceived as a transcript.)
I suppose I’ll have to find at least one transcript (not planned speech) from a reputable source to observe what was done about instances where he started what will have to pass for a sentence in his world on one topic and ended the so-called sentence on an unrelated subject. But it is true that he threw in a couple nice ideas. And there’s no doubt he will be tweeting soon.
