FOWC with Fandango — Attitude

FOWCWelcome to August 11, 2018 and to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt.

I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (US).

Today’s word is “attitude.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Or you can simply include a link to your post in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. You will marvel at their creativity.

Did I hallucinate or did you earlier have “aptitude” in the URL? Been gone all day but put down the prompts in case I had a minute to write a poem. I didn’t, but got home and dashed one off and used the URL I’d copied down this morning which was “aptitude.” I noticed it was different from the prompt word, but since I’d only copied the URL it ended up in poem as aptitude. But now, magically, they are both attitude. Tell me I didn’t dream this…..I’ll write another for Attitude as well.

No, you’re not crazy. When I originally wrote the post last week and scheduled it, it was “aptitude.” But then a few days ago, I changed it to “attitude.” But since it had already been scheduled for publishing, the post’s slug was still “aptitude.” I saw today that someone else used aptitude and that’s when I saw that I had failed to update the slug. My bad. But as far as I’m concerned, either one — aptitude or attitude — is fine.

I could have easily changed the line to attitude when forgottenman pointed out my error, but I loved the “aptitude” line so preferred to write a second “attitude” poem. This all after climbing around pyramids all day long.. Now I get to reward myself with a little soak in the hot tub before going out to dinner.. J

Hey. I “accidentally” wrote something with the word attitude in it a few minutes ago. And that (doubled letters) reminds me of Miss Allen and sixth grade summer camp… a game we all played one evening.
