John Steiner, the blogger behind Journeys With Johnbo, has this prompt he calls Cellpic Sunday in which he asks us to post a photo that was taken with a cellphone, tablet, or another mobile device. I thought this might be fun so I decided to join in.
It’s very unusual in my neck of the woods (The San Francisco Bay) for temperatures to drop low enough for there to be a frost. This morning, though, when I went out with my dog at around 7:15, my iPhone’s weather app indicated that it was 35°F outside. The photo below was taken with my iPhone this morning. I saw evidence of the frost on the arm of one of my Adirondack chairs around my fire pit. I took my finger and spelled out the word “COLD” on the frosty arm of the chair.

If you wish to participate in this fun cellphone photo prompt, please click on the link to John’s post at the top of my post to see his photo and to read his instructions.
The pavers look like ice floes drifting under the chair

Frost can make some interesting patterns on windows, as well. Thanks for joining in on the challenge.
