Share Your World — 11/29/2021

Melanie is doing her Evil Squirrel thing again for this week’s Share Your World thing. She and the Squirrel want to know…

If you had the power to strike one person in your life permanently speechless, who would it be?

Donald Trump.

If you could relive your childhood over again, what’s one thing from this modern world today you’d want to take back with you?

My iPhone. Yeah, I know that no one else would have a cell phone and the internet wasn’t around back then, but I’d still have games and my notes app and my camera.

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple are the standard colors of the rainbow.
Name something you love (or greatly admire/appreciate) for all six major colors of the rainbow! (Sorry indigo, you’re just blue-purple. Hot pink? You’re too flashy!)

Are we supposed to name something we love with all six colors or something we love for each of the six colors? For the former, I’m going with rainbow-colored, cannabis-infused gummies. For the latter:

  • Red: red M&Ms, which are especially beautiful and delicious after eating a cannabis-infused gummy.
  • Orange: my 1967 bright orange Camaro. (No, I no longer have that car.)
  • Yellow: a yellow ribbon tied around an old oak tree.
  • Green: my 1964 British Racing Green MGB. (And no, I no longer have that car either.)
  • Blue: my blue jeans.
  • Purple: purple mountain majesties.

If you were to open the world’s most accurate fortune cookie, what would your fortune inside it read?

Santa’s tired of people leaving him out cookies and milk on Christmas Eve night! If you really wanted to get on Santa’s good side, what would you leave out for him to eat/drink instead?

A one-year’s paid membership to Weight Watchers. He’s already too fat and those milk and cookies treats are going to kill him.

Awesome answers! I would concur about silencing Donald Trump forever! I am jealous that you have rainbow-colored gummies though *smiles* That sounds like something I want to look for lol.

I’m a little torn on the one person permanently silent topic. If I could go back in time, too, I’m torn… but in a different way. For going back to childhood with something from now, I first thought of online diverse news. Then I thought, “What if I could take this wish to remove someone’s ability to speak?” If I did that, it would be my mother. But, then, I’m not sure doing such would actually do any good. On top of the fact that there would be ways to get around not having speech as a way to do harm, I have learned a lot from my close-up view of somone like my mother. As I believe in future life, learning is worthwhile in that sense. I like your answers for the colors (all the six colors and the mix). And both the orange and the racing green sound quite fun. On the subject of fortune cookies, all I’m going to say is that while fortune cookies were invented in San Francisco, crab rangoon was invented in Saint Louis. (I have nothing to say about the Santa Clause.)

Our gummies are all mono-colored. Each box is a different single color. Right now, we are working on the greens having finished the reds. We’ve got two more colors to go and a bar of Wonka chocolate.

Garry had a bright orange loaded Dodge Challenger convertible. He loved that car and kept it for more than 20 years until it finally wouldn’t start unless the stars were in the right formation and no rain had fallen in several weeks. The irony is that if we’d been able to keep it, we’d have gotten a lot of money for it now, but we never had a garage. We still don’t have one. You can’t keep an antique car without a garage.

Thanks Fandango for Sharing Your World! Santa has gotten (so far) on his magical squirrel trip pizza, mince pie, beer, Pepsi, a hot dog (or two), some Scottish Whiskey (a whole bottle yet), and numerous other things that make one’s mouth water. He’s gonna need your certificate to WW. Mrs. Claus will no doubt be appreciative of the thoughtfulness of that gift! 😉 Beautiful choices for your rainbow, and your silence wish has been mentioned a lot of times so far. I’m one of the “yea” people too. That guy ought to shut up. Your fortune cookie contained some really dire news, didn’t it? Someone at the factory must have been in a serious mood that day! 😉 Have a wonderful week!
