One-To-Three Photo Processing Challenge — March, 2023

For this monthly prompt from Kate at The Squirrel Chase, the idea is to pick a photo we want to play with and process it using three different methods. The photo I’m featuring today is one I took of a water runoff basin near where I live. If this photo looks familiar, it’s because I took it at the end of February 2022 and posted it as my entry for Bushboy’s Last on the Card challenge on March 1, 2022. I think the original is interesting, so I decided to see what I could do with some post-processing apps.

All processed photos were made using apps available for the iPhone at Apple’s App Store. Also, all images, including the original, were resized (shrunk) to make them quicker to load (and to take up less space in my WordPress media folder).

    The first one looks like nice and normal water, and is. The last one still looks clean and so forth but stylized. It’s good. The second one looks like an oil slick maybe got into the water supply and is radiating up to pollute the trees as well. The third one can be translated as some kind of fantasy involving candied water in a candy world. I could be in the mood for that, sometime. I like the original best.
