Welcome to April 16, 2021 and to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt.
I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (US).
Today’s word is “lips.”
Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.
Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.
And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. You will marvel at their creativity.

Loose lips sink ships, so my lips are sealed.

Ha! The first thing that came to mind was Kissy Kissy, a stuffed Hippo my friend made which had the biggest pair of red lips you can imagine!!!

There are three videos embedded for the article below. I’m not a fan, but also not an anti-fan, of this group called Flaming Lips. I’m really not familiar with their music, but did think of their name due to the prompt.
As for the bubbles… nah.

Flaming Lips stage unique ‘space bubble’ concert …
You can see a largely Anglo-Saxon culture that works together at the end of the article. There’s not really an excuse for having a death wish as half the United States and even the U.K. seem to have had.
