Delusional

Supporting TrumpI just read an article that showed up on my iPhone’s newsfeed this morning. CNN’s Alisyn Camerota held a panel discussion with six voters from swing districts in Pennsylvania. When the group was asked by Camerota if they were “tired of the divisiveness,” they all agreed that they were. But they were split down the middle over whether Donald Trump was responsible for that divisiveness.

“Do you think that President Trump plays any role in that divisiveness?” Camerota asked.

“No,” several voters responded. When Camerota asked the group if they think the President is “being helpful,” one Trump supporter replied: “I think he’s being helpful, yes.”

Camerota asked that same person if there was anything Trump could do that would make her not vote for him. “No.”

“If he shot someone on 5th Avenue, would you vote for him?” Camerota asked, referring to Trump’s infamous comment during his 2016 campaign that he could shoot someone on the busy New York City street and still get elected.

“You’d have to know why he shot him,” another Trump supporter, said.

“Yeah, why did he shoot him?” yet another supporter echoed.

Are you fucking kidding me? These people are the very definition of delusional. If this is the way half of American voters think, the American republic is doomed.

Sadly so. The Difficult Toddler makes tricky Dick look like a treasure and yet people can’t seem to see it, or worse, admire the law breaking. Ironic for a group that claimed to be the “law and order” side of the spectrum.

I know. Whatever happen to those law and order, tough on Russia, anti-deficit, anti-debt Republicans?

I’m still surprised (and saddened) that someone hasn’t shot HIM on 5th Avenue or any other place. That shooter would be a hero. Is that a divisive comment? No. Merely DERISIVE. #impeach45

Yeah, too bad so many have to suffer for a few idiot’s mistakes though. I’m proud to say I didn’t vote for him. I found out that one of my ‘deluded’ siblings whom I thought DID (he supports that moron) did not. He voted for the same guy I did. We live and learn. I just hope T-dump doesn’t ruin us further.

I hope so too. Another term with this idiot will be insufferable.

I’ve nearly run out of expletives concerning both the dangerous clown in the Oval and the hypnotized followers. You keep wondering where ‘bottom’ is and I think we hit it awhile ago and just keep digging.

Does the delusion come from brainwashing? From watching the same news channel every hour of every day? From the constant ringing of hateful, bigoted speech? From people not wanting to admit they were wrong about their candidate? From people who are like-minded with their candidate? Or maybe all of the above. I’d like to know what part of their brain tells them this is okay and why…because it is not. If we have to suffer four more years of Trump and his supporters, I may be moving to Canada. Seriously.

I think it’s all of the above and I think the brains of Trump supporters like those who were interviewed have flatlined.

Okay, I wanna know why he shot the person too. Did the person on Fifth Avenue step on a homeless person to get inside the Prada store, representing gross American capitalism by shopping on one of the most expensive streets in America? Because I’d wanna know why Trump shot the person since he himself represents that. Otherwise, I don’t give a fuck and I wouldn’t want him re-elected.

No one in his or her right mind wants to see him re-elected. Unfortunately, there are lot of people out there who are not in their right minds.

You’re right. But maybe it’s because people are fed so much propaganda, they believe what they see and read. I’m sure people who take our stance have been fed propaganda too. It’s not just one-sided.

That Is one of the scariest things I’ve ever heard in my entire life. The APA has issued a diagnosis of narcissistic personality disorder and they never make a diagnosis without having seen the patient. But in this case they felt that the situation was so dire that they needed to do so.
