TLT — The Expression on Your Face

I’m so deliriously in love with you that it makes me squirm like an excited toddler when I’m in your presence .

Even your glance toward me, showing little or no emotion on your face, can cause me to act like a horse’s ass, to behave a little tetchy, as folks around these parts might say.

I worry, though, that my love for you, unbridled as it is, will either not be enough or may be too much for you to love me back and that all I’ll have to remember you by is your emotionally indecipherable expression at the instant my camera caught you looking back at me with a touch of sadness, or perhaps even contempt, in your eyes.

I like how you interpreted her expression. That awkwardness of not knowing how to act around someone you *like* is quite painful.

There are a bunch of them. Click on the links in my post. They will take you to those other prompts and then you can start to follow them. They’ll show up each day on your WordPress reader.

Are they generated by other bloggers or WordPress? I like the ones I saw from you and other bloggers.

All of the prompts I responded to in this post are generated by other bloggers. If you blog on WordPress, it generates a daily writing prompt that shows up on the WordPress home page.

Ok cool, I have been responding to that one, but will start branching out. How long have you been doing this?

I started my first blog in 2005, but this blog in 2017 and I’ve been responding to prompts pretty much since then. I also host a daily prompt and a few weekly ones.

That is definitely something I could do, I am a history teacher. How do you get started with the writing prompts? Is there a special tag or something you use?

First, you’ve got to build up a following of other bloggers who read your posts. You do that by writing engaging and interesting posts. Also, when you read posts that you enjoy from other bloggers, leave a comment on their posts. They may choose to read your comment, read your post and then follow your blog. Once you get some followers who regularly read your posts, tell them you’re starting a new prompt and invite them to join in. Hopefully you will then start to gain traction. Good luck, Mike.
