So here’s the last photo I took on my iPhone in November.
My wife and I were on our morning walk yesterday and she asked me to stop and take a picture of the tall, decorative grasses growing in the front yard of a house along the route. So I did, no questions asked. By the time we got home from our walk, neither of us remembered that she had asked me to take that picture. Later, when I decided to use that photo for Brian’s prompt, I reminded her that she had asked me to take the picture, held up my iPhone and showed it to her, and asked her why she wanted me to take the picture. She looked at the photo, shrugged her shoulders, and said, “I have no idea.”
It’s a good picture.

Pampas grass is beautiful when allowed to grow. My patio edges up to some planted in gravel but they don’t take care of it and chop it every fall. It should be burned, according to a landscaper. So even after living here for seven years it has not matured.

Tall ornamental grasses like that can be very pretty… this picture proves that point.
