In my One-Liner Wednesday response last week, I quoted baseball legend Yogi Berra. I thought, given that Yogi is full of these one-liner gems, I’d hit him up again for this week’s One-Liner Wednesday prompt from Linda G. Hill.
“You should always go to other people’s funerals, otherwise, they won’t come to yours.”
Yogi was full of these tidbits of wisdom, wasn’t he?
Love this.

Very wise words. If we attend someone’s funeral, they are sure to show up for ours…. from the other side😂

But if they don’t, will it bother me once I am dead ?
Nevertheless I do go to funerals.

What good is a funeral if no ghosts show up.

This is really funny. Also illustrates how people, on other topics, mix who is who as if “they” are doing everything.

I certainly hope I have plenty of folks from the other side holding court at my funeral!
