I need you to remove that blackboard from the front of my building. Why? Well, first of all, it makes me feel uncomfortable and somewhat fragile. I’ve always been wary when it comes to creating a bucket list of things I want to do before I die. It would mean admitting that my time on Earth is coming to a close soon and that I need to hurry up and do all of the things I’ve always wanted to do but haven’t yet gotten around to doing them. And I’m reticent to make such admission, even though it’s true.
Second of all, I hate to blow my own horn, but I’ve been fortunate in my life to have carved a wide swathe, so to speak, over the years and there are few experiences that I haven already experienced or places I haven’t already been to. Thus, I would have to seriously puzzle over the delivery of such a list of things I want to do before I die, since I’ve pretty much done it all.
So please do me a favor and remove that damn backboard from the front of my funeral home. It’s seriously bad for business.

Absolutely brilliant! I love it! Masterfully crafted! ✒️

Shouldn’t it look like this outside a funeral home…

Oh, WOW! Is that really in front of a funeral home? Lots of blogger’s do bucket list posts, not me! Those lists make me feel uncomfortable as well.

I have no idea where that blackboard is, but I thought it would be funny if it were located there. And yeah, I’m not a big fan of bucket lists.

Oops, typo, no apostrophe needed for bloggers 🙂

I’ll give you a pass on that misplaced apostrophe this time. Don’t let it happen again! 😉

I wonder how many people actually stopped and filled out the blackboard *laughs*

Great take on the prompt. I’m stumped on this one. Are you still after photos? I’ve got a couple I thought you might like 🙂

The ending! Indeed of all things a bucket list outside a funeral home; may be I’d change it to list of things I helped my customers do before they died 😀

Nice little surprise on the location of the list blackboard. Probably not the greatest placement, ha, ha!
