I’ll Be Back

39F1B61F-8021-4551-8AFD-E724442A98BAI’ve been posting three or four times a day for many months and I just can’t do it anymore. Well, I can’t do it today, anyway. I’m tired and I’m uninspired and I think I need to take a slight break.

So no posts from me today. Maybe tomorrow my inspiration will be rekindled by something I read, see, or hear in the news or by something one of you posts on your blog. Or maybe not. Who knows?

But, as Ahnold always says, “I’ll be back.”

Written for today’s one-word prompt, “slight.”

Funny how suddenly, you realize how much effort constant blogging takes, eh? I cut down the number of posts and I’m still working on cutting it down further. But I’ve been doing it much longer, so I have 7000+ existing posts that I can rifle through and rewrite, so that helps. And a few other writers to kick in with new idea …. but it took years to get some help, too and you have to want to share. Most people don’t want to.

Don’t just disappear. I hate when people do that. They start out like a house on fire and they are there every day, then one day, just gone. Vanished. It has happened half a dozen times and it’s only the middle of May. Over the years, many times.

I write — literally — the same way I talk, so it’s pretty easy to find things to say, especially since my husband is deaf and mostly, can’t hear me.

I won’t be away for long. In fact, another post today just might be bubbling up in the caldron. I do think I need to slow down a bit, though. Just over 1,000 posts in a year. Phew, makes me tired just thinking about it.
