Weekend Writing Prompt — Twists and Turns

Detective Fred Morrisey pondered the anfractuous case before him. The stabbing of the mysterious man Morrisey was tracking on the train seemed to lead down endless winding paths, each more perplexing than the last.

Determined to solve this case, Morrisey meticulously followed every clue as he doggedly began to unravel the tangled web of deceit, denial, and betrayal. But with perseverance, the pieces slowly began to fall into place, revealing a sinister plot with more twists and turns than he could have possibly foreseen when he took the case. Morrisey finally solved the enigmatic puzzle. Case closed!
