Frank, aka PCGuyIV, has returned as host of Truthful Tuesday. The idea behind this prompt is for us to respond to the question (or questions) Frank asks and to be 100% truthful in our responses. No glib answers, no funny business, no fibs. Just raw honesty.
This week, Frank wants to know…
Are you into Halloween? Will you be dressing up and going out; handing out candy to trick-or-treaters; or staying home with the lights off, waiting for All Saints’ Day?
No, I am not into Halloween. I was when I was a kid, of course. And when I got married and had children, I was into Halloween for them. They would put on costumes — some homemade, some store-bought — and we’d take them trick or treating.
But now that my wife and I are empty-nesters, the extent of my Halloween activities consist of buying a half a dozen bags of “fun-sized” candy bars, putting them in a big bowl with a “Help Yourself” sign on it, and placing it at the end of our driveway so no kids will disturb our peace by knocking on our door.
Oh, my son and daughter-in-law persuaded us to join them with our grandkids tomorrow during the day at some sort of pumpkin patch thingie. It’s supposed to hit 90° here tomorrow, so boo 👻.
Enjoy the day with your grandkids tomorrow!

I’m Australian, so I am supposed to “poo poo” it, but I love it, lol

Hope you had a little fun at the pumpkin patch, in spite of the heat.
