“Aw, Ma, do I have to?” Jenny whined.
“Yes you do,” Arlene said. “You’re too young for me to leave you here by yourself and I promise it won’t take long.”
“Where are we going?” Jenny asked, arms folded defiantly across her chest.
“The notions store,” Arlene answered.
“What are notions?”
“They are things like pins, cotton, ribbon, and similar items for sewing,”Arlene explained.
“That is so boring,” Jenny said.
“How about this,” Arlene said. “When we come back I’ll teach you how to sew. We can start by sewing a dress for you.”
Jenny smiled. “Cool,” she said.

“Those drinks look absolutely delicious,” Ralph said. “You went all out this year.”
“Yes, I wanted this year’s Christmas gathering to be special,” Linda said. “After all, It’s official now.” She held up her left hand, showing him her engagement ring.
Ralph sighed. “I’m so happy for you and Michael,” he said. “You deserve one another.”
Linda excused herself. “I’ll be right back.” When she returned with Michael, she said, “Michael, this is Ralph, my ex.”
“A toast,” Ralph said, handing Michael a drink.
Michael took a sip, turned blue, fell to the floor, and died.
“Happy Holidays,” Ralph said.

The five Asian tourists were exploring the many parks that dotted the city of Brussels. One of them gasped and pointed to a statue located on a patio at one edge of the park. She and her four companions started laughing and they excitedly ran toward the statue to investigate.
“We have to take a picture of this,” Jin said, grabbing the camera, while the other four posed directly in front of the statue.
“What do you think this statue means?” asked Sook.
“I don’t know,” said Jade. “But to me it looks like a man straddling a giant vagina.”

For the record, I have no idea where this statue is located and it probably isn’t intended to represent a guy straddling a giant vagina, but that’s what I saw when I first saw Bikurgurl’s photo, so that’s what I went with. I’d love to know what the statue really is and where it’s located.
