FOWC

Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).

Today’s word is “plead.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, ÿplease manually add your link in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. Show them some love.

Biden – whose campaign subsequently said had been suffering from a cold – struggled in the debate, stumbling over his answers, rambling at times or losing his thread entirely while speaking in a hoarse and raspy voice.

The president mistakenly declared [and did not correct himself] at one stage: “We finally beat Medicare.”

While looking at celebrities is a little bit of a distraction, the top of this article has a bit by Jon Stewart — although I wasn’t entertained by the whole Daily Show piece, he is correct in this opening conclusion.

I say the look at celebrities can be a distraction because I was watching msnbc, last night, and their news-star power (including Maddow, Hayes, Reid, and so forth) was talking about donors and party apparatchiks.

In case anyone missed it, many people are pleading for a different democratic nominee (while most have been trained to be like Bernard Lowe in the Westworld series also starring Anthony Hopkins). At the same time, the moderators (who did zero fact checking) softly pleaded with Donald Trump to indeed please answer their questions; one such question which he never did answer was about the opioid crisis — a real issue which Trump wouldn’t want to answer to now as he hooked it to himself tight in use for being elected the first time via trickery.
