    ODE TO DRAG

    Despite today is Sunday
    Despite my day of rest
    I’ve gotta use word drag I’m told
    So (yep) I’ll do my best

    Here goes……

    Today’s word (yep) is drag I’m told
    Synonym is to crawl
    My head is still el blanko
    Can only think of caul

    The inner embryonic membrane of higher
    vertebrates (especially when covering the
    head at birth)……

    Three Cigarettes

    I didn’t know, until today, that this
    is a cover of a Patsy Cline song.

      I saw a recent conversation wherein the interviewee lit up a cigarette, had smoke floating through the air within the screen, and took drags repeatedly. He was being interviewed by a doctor, so I felt like said host was trying not to react but smiling slightly nevertheless. It was via Zoom or Skype or something, so no problem so to speak.

        ^The interviewee wasn’t American. Nevertheless, smoking used to seem so American… at least in America.
