Neo-Con[servative] and Neo-Lib[eral] is pretty much the same thing. I had been thinking, this morning, about mentioning this — even though the terminological grouping of Neoconservatives being a thing isn’t much used any more; died off with “W.” and Dick Cheney, perhaps as no longer attractive to voters. Of course, Republicans want the voters to think they will be getting something different from Republicans now (although they won’t get anything different on the whole). Anyway, the disingenuous talking head in an early clip (from NEWSMAX) that this lefty-progressive analyst discusses uses the term, while the analyst sees through it.
