Rory, at Earthly Comforts, has posed some more of his world famous questions for us to consider.
What Personality Trait Has Gotten You In The Most Trouble?
Probably my sarcasm. Not everyone gets it.
Do you trust Google – it is always reliable and accurate with all your searches, and what are your top five regular searches?
My issue with Google Search is not the reliability or accuracy of the searches. It’s more about how it apparently keeps track of what I’ve searched for and then posts articles or ads, or sends me emails in gmail, related to things I’ve searched for. For example, when I was researching different e-bikes a few years back, I stated getting emails from different e-bike makers on almost a daily basis. I had to unsubscribe individually from each of their sites to stem the flow of e-bike emails.
I don’t really have “regular” searches I do repeatedly. My searches vary depending upon what’s going on and what crossed my mind.
What’s been your greatest challenge?
Right now my greatest challenge is getting to the point where I can walk without having to use walking sticks and have full range of motion in my right shoulder after falling of a latter in January and fracturing my left hip and breaking my right arm at my shoulder.
Are you someone that wants to be or needs to be heard and seen, or are you content to be found behind the scenes?
In my younger days, being seen and heard was a big deal. Now that I’m an old fart, I’m quite content to be invisible.
Nice answers Fandango! ❤

I’ve experienced this influx of emails too. How irritating and concerning

I kinda don’t know what “top five searches” means. I’m searching something different all the time. Generally: news, music, household items or appliances, factoids, plants? There was a big fail over the last two days. Because of the link from here to Jim’s Thursday prompt about music, I did some looking around for songs by Alanis Morissette similar to a particular song by Meredith Brooks. Everything, with a couple exceptions, gave Morissette credit for either both the song and the singing or for the singing while naming Brooks as the writer. I even got links to YouTube with Alanis plastered all over in picture and name and none of Meredith while the singing was definitely Meredith. So… the exceptions were Wikipedia and an article [sorry I don’t remember the publication moniker] from the nineties, when Meredith’s song was new (and many people were expressing confusion).

My experience is for a fail to be the exception. If I don’t find what I’m looking for, I can add or remove words from the search and I get there. Additionally, I rarely find junk in the options from a list. However, I believe there are people who have a search history that will bring them more iffy options.

Interesting answers Fandango, especially the Google assault on my searches and then apparently fixing what l want to read, that flucks me off no end as well.
