Heh. ‘The brain drain’ is a phlyarologism dreamed up by the rich to persuade us all not to tax them. I’ve maintained for ages that wealth is more down to luck than skill or hard work (see for instance my post ‘The secret to success‘), and that if the wealthy want to bugger off from anyone’s shores then there are more than enough up-and-coming hungry smart folk who would be more than happy to fill the void.
