This, That, and the Other

For this week’s Blogging Insights prompt, Dr. Tanya has asked us about the A to Z Blogging Challenge. She wants to know:

1. Are you participating in this year’s A to Z Challenge? If not, have you participated in the past?

I have formally and officially participated in the A to Z Blogging Challenge every year since 2018. And I am participating again this year, but not formally or officially. I didn’t register on the official site spreadsheet or declare my theme on the theme reveal spreadsheet. But I have been posting an unofficial daily A to Z post each day on my informal theme: classic rock songs.

2. What do you enjoy about this Challenge in particular, and what do you think about blogging challenges in general?

Like any other challenge, the A to Z Challenge gives you something to strive to achieve. I post every day on my blog anyway, but to have the discipline to create a daily post on a particular theme each day is what makes this challenge challenging. And yes, I do enjoy it.

As to blogging challenges in general, I participate regularly in a number of prompts from other bloggers, where questions are posed for us to answer or word or photo prompts are given to stimulate our imagination and creativity. I find these prompts/challenges helpful and enjoy the challenge of responding to them.
