For this week’s Sunday Poser, Sadje wants to know…

Do you like to relax at home on the weekends or go out?

I wrote in my response to Jim Adam’s Thursday Inspiration post that, in my old age, I’ve become a real homebody. I’d rather be at home than be out and about these days. And it’s not just because I busted my hip three months ago and need a walker to get around. It’s more about getting used to sheltering in place at home over the past three years due to the COVID pandemic.

On the one hand, it’s nice to get out of the house on occasion and now that I’m starting to feel a little more mobile, we have started going to our son and daughter-in-law’s place on either Saturday or Sunday for lunch or dinner and to spend some time with our grandkids.

But on the other hand, I feel comfortable at home. I feel at ease at home. So I suppose, to specifically answer Sadje’s question, my preference is to relax at home.

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts Fandango! I too feel more relaxed at home, but sometimes it’s nice to go out too.

    I find that I don’t realise I needed to get out, until I get out. Work not included, lol
