I get some interesting spam comments on my blog, most of which are captured by Akismet, WordPress’ spam blocker. I generally do a mass delete of all of my spam comments after checking to see if any legitimate comments got caught up in Akismet’s spam-catching net.
I thought it might be fun to select a particularly interesting or unique or outrageous spam comment and highlight it each week.
This week I’m going to feature two short spam comments and one longer one. These first two were posted in response to my Who Am I about page. In the first comment, Rosendo Ludolph wrote…
It will help you obtain everything done in a portion of the moment.
Then, Hollis Janish wrote…
This will transform the method you do points from now on.
I am at a loss to figure out what either of these two spammers are talking about. If any of you readers speak Spamish and can interpret what these guys mean, I’d love to hear from you.
The last spam comment I’m featuring is from Maxine Criton and it was in response to my WordPress Daily Prompt about a subject that’s misunderstood.
Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything. Nevertheless think of if you added some great images or videos to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and videos, this blog could undeniably be one of the greatest in its niche. Very good blog!
Maxine, have you ever actually read my blog? If you had, you’d already know that every single post of mine does have at least one image, photo, and/or video added to it. Pay attention, girl!
What about you? Have you read some catchy spam comments that you’d like to share with us? If so, put them in the comments or create your own post and tag it #FSCW.

Sorry my limited Spammish is of no use Fandango.
Not impressed that Maxine was overly familiar in calling you “pop” as well 😂

The first two sounded like sales pitches, but for what I have no idea. The last one also sounds like a service request of some kind. Spam is so weird.

I have had similar spam to the first two and always thought they were related to whatever it was they were trying to sell.
