Di (aka Pensitivity101) hosts Fibbing Friday, a silly little exercise where we are to write a post with our answers to the ten questions below. But as the title suggests, truth is not an option. The idea is to fib a little, a lot, tell whoppers, be inventive, silly, or even outrageous, in our responses. For this week’s Fibbing Friday, Di has given us a mixed bag of words to define.
1. What is clematis? A sexually transmitted disease (STD).
2. What is meant by linear? It’s a euphemism for cauliflower ear.
3. What is a gonk? It’s when you get bonked in the head by a goose.
4. What is a sirloin? Sir Loin was the name of one of King Arthur’s Knights of the Roundtable.
5. What is pumpernickel? It’s a device used to remove nickels from piggy banks without damaging the piggy bank.
6. What is canasta? It’s pasta that comes in a can.
7. What is a Duchess Cake? It’s what the Duke calls his wife’s private parts.
8. What is density? It’s the course of study a student must take to get into dental school.
9. Where will you find Agnes, Margo and Edith? They are the names of the characters in a remake of “The Golden Girls,” coming this summer to Netflix.
10. What is a spatula? A baby tarantula spider.
5 and 6 are brilliant.

You won my vote with the canasta. I don’t know if I can best you or even equal you with any of these, but I’ll try later. You always ask the irresistible questions…

Good ones Fandango. Sir Loin reminded me of Harry Secombe who called himself Sir Cumference

Good answers Fandango. Don’t think I’d like to be hit on the head by a goose……….. and we have plenty of those flying low over the house. Thanks for joining in.
