Practice Makes Perfect

I haven’t been around WordPress much today. This morning, before going to my physical therapy, I was taking online California driver’s license practice tests on my iPhone. And this afternoon, after returning from PT and having some lunch, my wife and I sat in our family room watching lots of YouTube videos with example questions from the California written test. And I have yet to complete any of the sample tests without getting at least one wrong answer.

That has me a little worried. I’m not sure what the total number of questions available are, but each test has 36. And based upon the practice tests, depending upon the 36 questions selected, some tests are more difficult than others.

I think you can get up to six questions wrong and still pass. Of course, I’m striving for zero errors, but those DMV folks are pretty sneaky. The wording for some of the questions and answers can be tricky and I think is designed the throw you off your game if you’re not paying attention.

My test is scheduled for Tuesday, so I think I’ll run through some more practice tests tomorrow but take the weekend off to relax. Then one more day of cramming on Monday.

Watch. I’ll probably pass the written test and then flunk the vision test.
