Welcome once again to Fandango’s Provocative Question. Each week I will pose what I think is a provocative question for your consideration.
By provocative, I don’t mean a question that will cause annoyance or anger. Nor do I mean a question intended to arouse sexual desire or interest.
What I do mean is a question that is likely to get you to think, to be creative, and to provoke a response. Hopefully a positive response.
I’ve got a lot going on these days in my personal life and I’m also unofficially participating in the A to Z Blogging Challenge this month, so time is a bit tight. Hence, this week’s provocative question is very simple:
How are you doing?
If you choose to participate in Fandango’s Provocative Question, you may respond with a comment or write your own post in response to the question. Once you are done, tag your post with #FPQ and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Or you can simply include a link to your post in the comments. But remember to check to confirm that your pingback or your link shows up in the comments.
I’m doing well. Already have 4 posts for today and 3 scheduled for tomorrow. So I’m answering here. God is very kind and I’m good. Thanks for asking.

That’s the best that can be expected, I suppose.

How am I doing? You tell me.
Yesterday I had an appointment with my doctor. We were talking about the weather changing so quickly and how it was time to put our winter clothes away. I was telling her that I needed one or two medium weight jackets but in mid-sentence I fogged over and couldn’t think of the words “medium weight”. I froze, a perplexed look on my face. Of all people, why did this have to happen while in conversation with my doctor?!
Strangely, she seemed oblivious. It may be time to look for another doctor! 😂

I hate when that happens. I know the word or words, but they are just out of my grasp at the very moment when I need them.

Maybe you need to take a short break from blogging to refresh yourself.

I”m too damn busy, what with the blogging challenge, tax season, school and all… which is better than the alternative.

When one of my recent happy moments is noticing that a wine opened Saturday night was from Marlborough NZ, and I remembered the cigarettes and the commercial with the man and the horse and land and… [my dad had been a smoker until I was about ten, hence right up to when my mom decided it was time for her psycho motivations to kick in and she divorced him. I’ve been very happy that my dad had kicked the habit and wouldn’t seem at all like a smoker the rest of his years. Still, there are times the memories are nostalgic.]
I did, however, have a wonderful night yesterday evening. I saw a local (and awesome) jazz ensemble at a special event in a world-class symphony hall. They normally perform in a lounge or club. These people were so good and so elevated in spirit that the audience in the social event after the show became especially friendly and interactive.

I’m doing well, I appreciate you asking. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster lately, with its ups and downs – some days I’m full of energy and motivation, while other days I feel a bit drained and lacking inspiration. I’ve been trying to take care of myself by getting enough sleep, eating healthy, and spending time doing things I enjoy. I’ve also been trying to stay connected with loved ones, which has been helpful in maintaining a sense of community and support. I’m trying to stay positive and take things one day at a time. Of course, there are always challenges and stressors that come up, but I’m doing my best to tackle them head-on and not let them overwhelm me. I’m doing my best to find moments of joy and gratitude in the midst of it all. I’m feeling grateful for the good things in my life and hopeful for the future. How about you? How are you doing?

Good question. I’m not entirely sure. Better than I was, not where I’d like to be. How are YOU doing?

If only we could recuperate to younger. That would be really great.

National Geographic says we are getting near to a “bird of youth” drug. It works on mice, apparently. Maybe eventually us?

Yeah. I have a feeling it will be the Next Generation — assuming they are very very wealth. I’m pretty sure Medicare won’t cover it.
