Di, of Pensitivity101, is our host for Truthful Tuesday. This week Di wants to know:
What is in your cupboard under the sink?
First things first. Here in my part of the world, we call it a “cabinet” under the sink.
Second, a picture is worth a thousand words.

That picture saved you a lot of writing.

We have uppers and lowers, but they’re all called cabinets.

We have cabinet makers rather than cupboard makers. Interesting.

The difference is really what they are called in England and their colonies from the past ie Australia, and what they are called in the United States. I was bought up with all the storage places in the kitchen were cupboards. The cabinets were for storage of stuff, sometimes important family treasures etc

Your under-the-sink area is much neater than mine, but wait … you keep your dishdrainer with clean dishes under there?

Yes, my wife refuses to have the dish drainer on the counter. She wants it out of sight.
