FOWC with Fandango — Receipt

FOWC

It’s March 21, 2023. Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).

Today’s word is “receipt.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. Show them some love.

    photocopy your receipts
    they’re designed to fade
    when required to produce them
    you can’t prove you paid

I tried to comment on your blog, but I was unable to – WordPress being silly. Just wanted to say that I enjoyed reading your response.

        Thanks for the comment!
I have the same problem. I have to go in through the website’s comment balloon, or face sign in hell, and nine out of ten times the comment never appears. WP is so complex now that I think it is a sort of Jurassic Park thing. It does stuff the creators didn’t expect.

Ahhhh. I just had the same issue commenting on your post. Must have been those darned kids. The same ones that spray painted the overpass!
