FOWC with Fandango — Toothbrush

FOWC

It’s March 10, 2023. Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).

Today’s word is “toothbrush.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. Show them some love.

The toothbrush was an invention by some back waters redneck otherwise it would have been called a teethbrush 😂

    ODE TO TOOFBRUSH (TEEFBRUSH)

    I use my plastic toofbrush
To brush up on my teef
To make them nice and sparkly white
    White beyond beleef

    Yep

At times I get bit lazy
    Neglecting clean of teef
    They go all yellow fangy-like
    (Not white beyond beleef)

    Yep

    I bought my plastic toofbrush
    Toofbrush off the shelf
But when I get too lazy I’m
    Disgusted with myself

    Yep

    Fin

Had to google “akubra” and “driza bone.” Proves that I’m not an Aussie!

WordPress is not letting me comment at your site. I use old toothbrushes to clean grout.

Oops… I used the wrong prompt word for you above. I’ve now changed the poem to reflect the usage of “toothbrush.”
