Di, at Pensitivity101, is our host for Share Your World each week. Here are her SYW questions for this week.
- Did you attend Sunday School at your local church as a child? No, our family was not religious and we did not attend church regularly.
- Did you attend after school classes (e.g., drama, sports) as a teenager? With both parents working, I was a latchkey kid and would spend many after school hours at the local recreation center, doing arts and crafts or participating in various sports.
- Did you go to evening classes after you had left school? After I graduated from college and was working full time, I attended night classes at an urban university where I earned my master’s degree.
- Do you now belong to any groups/meetings (e.g., WI, single (not dating), young mums, slimming clubs, young wives, men’s hobbies)? Nope.
Gratitude:
I am grateful that, between Medicare, the federal government’s healthcare coverage for seniors, and my Medicare Supplement plan through private insurance, almost all of my expenses related to my broken hip and broken humerus, including ER care, hospitalization, and rehab, have been covered. So far, anyway.
Awesome answers Fandango!

Sorry t hear about your broken hip and humerus – that’s not at all humorous and I’m glad Medicare plus supplement paid for it! Those are the tribulations of getting old!

I’m grateful to Medicare as well. My parents thought church was a great babysitter for them when they had to recover from their Saturday night hangovers! I studied Bible As Lit in college though- and probably know more about what it says than a lot of church goers seem to!

I love interrogatory posts, mostly because of the memories they spark.
I’m glad to hear the recovery train is still chugging and that it hasn’t broken the bank.

Glad to hear your insurance is up to snuff! That is always a concern with an injury.
