Spam Comment of the Week — Week 8 2023

I get some interesting spam comments on my blog, most of which are captured by Akismet, WordPress’ spam blocker. I generally do a mass delete of all of my spam comments after checking to see if any legitimate comments got caught up in Akismet’s spam-catching net.

I thought it might be fun to select a particularly interesting or unique or outrageous spam comment and highlight it each week.

This week’s featured spam comment was from Curt Propuzo and was in response to my “Who Am I?” About page.

It?s really a great and helpful piece of info. I am satisfied that you just shared this useful info with us. Please stay us up to date like this. Thanks for sharing.

Curt, I’m happy that you are satisfied with my About page and that you found it useful. As you requested, if anything about me changes, I will most assuredly stay you up to date.

Anyway, have you read some catchy spam comments that you’d like to share with us? If so, put them in the comments or create your own post and tag it #FSCW.

It is a pleasure to see for the sake of humanity and the Hormel Foods Corporation that when you’re hamming it up that the pork barrel humor is well preserved with the correct amount of sodium nitrite similar to what’s used in bacon. Good job. Continue to bring home the bacon and the cans of Spam (spiced ham, pork, potato starch) from Minnesota. It is very popular in Hawaii and is called “The Hawaiian Steak”. They even have a “Waikiki Spam Jam”. I think we can show you how to improve your SEO with a good recipe for spam. We have reasonably priced photos of spam and hula skirts, and of course the quintessential Hawaiian shirt.

I cleaned up my computer yesterday and didn’t have a single spam on the site. Oops. Maybe tomorrow.
