It’s February 21, 2023. Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).

Today’s word is “why.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

    i can’t tell you why
    this geriatric teenager
    has never grown up
    in a way i’m glad
    i know i’m a little bit mad
    sometimes it makes me sad
    to hear these old songs again

      You asked about adding a photo to a comment. I think I have an answer. I can’t do it in my iOS app on my iPhone but I can do it using WordPress.com.

      You must first add the photo to your Media folder. Once it’s been added, you can then edit the image. But rather than making any edits (unless you want to), you will find a field that has “file URL” and below that is a box that says “Copy URL to Clipboard.” Tap or click on that and then you should be able to paste that URL into a comment. Let me know if that works.

    Ours Is Not to Reason Why

    Why aren’t pingbacks working?
