Today’s word is “worthless.”

    little eco warriors
    carefully separate
    their garbage
    only to find their recycling efforts
    made worthless
    as it has been discovered
    that the council dumps it all
    in landfill anyway

    I’m not sure of what I am. I’ve never felt more alive but less of me than I have ever been. Not sure if the me I knew, is the me I am. MY pieces have fell many times before perhaps to rid myself of pieces I thought was worthless. Perhaps to make way for pieces I think are worth more. I have no thoughts of what I am becoming today but what I can say is I am more alive than the Me I knew back then.

      I’ve never thought of myself as worthless, but having busted my left hip and my right arm last month, both limbs are pretty much worthless right now.
