FOWC with Fandango — Past

FOWC

It’s February 13, 2023. Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).

Today’s word is “past.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. Show them some love.

    ODE TO PAST

My odes are getting past it
    I’m getting kinda stale
My words are running out of steam
    My coffin’s on the nail

    I’m onna downward spiral Fan……

    past three o’clock
    on a cold frosty morning
    past three o’clock
    good morrow masters all

    memories of school
    the school choir
giggling gerties in hats and gloves
    along with an overwhelming nostalgia
of a more gentle innocent time
    long long gone

In the past — or the way back machine — findings are emerging. Using end of life drugs correlated with Covid-19 deaths due to… “rapid” (UK authority) guideline per managing symptoms. Previously, the opioid crisis has been referenced as a reason not to trust big Pharma; just a tale of warning. Now, it looks like literally opioids were overprescribed specifically for Covid-19, to patents’ detriment.
