John Steiner, the blogger behind Journeys With Johnbo, has this prompt he calls Cellpic Sunday in which he asks us to post a photo that was taken with a cellphone, tablet, or another mobile device. I thought this might be fun so I decided to join in.
When I saw the picture John posted today, one showing a snowy view outside of his office window in Fargo, North Dakota, I looked back at my archives and found this snowy photo taken in March of 2010 looking out of my front door when I was living in wintry Massachusetts.

Truth be told, it was snowy scenes like this, not uncommon where I lived in Massachusetts, that prompted my family and me to move, later that year, across the country to San Francisco, where such a wintry scene outside one’s home is never seen.
If you wish to participate in this fun cellphone photo prompt, please click on the link to John’s post at the top of my post to see his photo and to read his instructions.
So your glad you moved? I like snow, but just a little!

Really? You’ve never, ever seen snow before?

Nope. I came to Australia when I was eighteen months, so I have no memory of ever seeing snow

I can’t say that I blame you for moving west! I grew up in southern California, so my heart is in warmer climates.
