FOWC with Fandango — Arena

FOWC

It’s February 3, 2023. Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).

Today’s word is “arena.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. Show them some love.

Far too slowly, Don. I have no energy, so even writing, posting, and reading blog posts is a chore. This really sucks.

You’ve written three lines in reply.. That’s progress.

I know about lethargy when I had covid. No energy and don’t feel like doing anything. You just have to wait for nature to take it’s course. I was six weeks in hospital waiting for nature to heal a broken pelvis, From falling off a ladder. Why do we do such silly things at our age?

Was up a ladder at a light fitting this morning changing a globe with heart in mouth. Glad to get down. Had to be done though.

I don’t think I will ever go on a ladder again. If the need to use a ladder is required in the future, I will hire a freakin’ handyman.

Yeah, I should. Your posts are always entertaining. But I’ve only pushing out minimal posts these days, mostly my FOWC posts. Trying to keep my 2,066 consecutive days streak alive, even if it kills me.
