What could you do differently?
If there is a reason for doing things differently, that’s one thing. But I’m not a proponent of change for the sake of change. As the old saying goes, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. And I ain’t broke.
If I think about the past, which I don’t often do, I suppose there are many things I could have done differently at the time. But then would I be who, what, and where I am today? Maybe. Maybe not.

But as things stand, I’m content with my life and see no good reason to do things differently just for the sake of doing things differently.
I saw on the news that those cyclone storms are really bad, and I am just wondering how you are managing.

It’s very wet, the ground is saturated, and a lot of trees have fallen due to either ground saturation or high winds and a lot of areas have flooded. But other than a very brief power outage late last night, we’re on high ground and are doing okay. That said, the forecast is calling for rain in nine of the next ten days and we’ve been getting an inch or more of rain each day. I don’t remember seeing anything like this in the dozen years I’ve lived in the Bay Area.

The only things I would do differently are “minor” changes to avoid falling and other dumb stuff that’s caused physical pain. Like you, I’m otherwise content 🙂

I agree. What’s done is done.
