It’s January 9, 2023. Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).
Today’s word is “copy.”
Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.
Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.
And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. Show them some love.
The first copier I ever used from my vague memory is where you laid a sheet of pink some sort of waxed paper? on the paper you wanted a COPY on and manually fed the paper into the Gestetner machine some how. You peeled the pink paper away and there was your COPY. It took ages just to get a fair number of copies.
I wonder what I was copying and I think it was at school 🤔

Almost sounds like a mimeograph printer but I don’t think it is because that was just the only the one stencil.
