Spam Comment of the Week — Week 52 2022

I get some interesting spam comments on my blog, most of which are captured by Akismet, WordPress’ spam blocker. I generally do a mass delete of all of my spam comments after checking to see if any legitimate comments got caught up in Akismet’s spam-catching net.

I thought it might be fun to select a particularly interesting or unique or outrageous spam comment and highlight it each week.

This week I’m featuring a spam comment in response to my FOWC with Fandango — Litigious post. It was from Tabag Villenuevo and his buddies.

I not to mention my buddies have already been reading through the great tricks on the blog and then came up with an awful suspicion I had not expressed respect to the site owner for those tips. These people were certainly very interested to study them and now have undoubtedly been using these things. We appreciate you indeed being very kind and for choosing this sort of very good tips millions of individuals are really wanting to know about. Our own sincere regret for not saying thanks to you earlier.

Well, Tabag, there’s no need to apologize. Of course, the post you commented on was one of my one-word prompts, so I’m not sure what tricks and tips you and your buddies think millions of individuals are wanting to know about. But no worries, Tabag, I forgive you for failing to express respect to this site owner. And Happy New Year to you and your buddies.

    You have to laugh, I have a spam family, with the same last name, and different first names.

    I almost envy your find this week as none of hundred or so I scanned in mine had any creativity. This is a new approach and I love what you wrote back to them. One thing I am noticing by this weekly spam comment feature is how danged quickly the weeks fly by.

        Speaking of that you reminded me I decided to log in to linked in which is one of the few (maybe only?) time I’ve done it since retiring in 2018. I was surprised to see that at least 2 of my contacts in there have passed away but their account is still active. 😦

    Here is a giggle for you Fandango.
    One of the people in my spam post just sent me a like for that spam post. They appeared again so I blocked them a week or so ago.
    They have my vote for persistence to get me to Vape 😂
