Brian, aka Bushboy, posted his monthly Last on the Card prompt, where he asks us to…
- Post the last photo from your camera’s SD card or the last photo from your phone taken in the month of December.
- No editing — who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like, or the subject matter didn’t cooperate?
- No explanations needed — just the photo will do.
- Create a pingback to Brian’s post or link in the comments.
- Tag “The Last Photo.”
So here’s the last photo I took on my iPhone in December.

We got almost three inches of rain from Friday night through about 9 pm last night where I live. I took this photo at around 4:00 yesterday afternoon. Fortunately, we live at the top of a hill, so we didn’t experience any flooding or water leaks. Our neighbors at the bottom of the hill weren’t so fortunate.
A wonderful amount of rainfall which would replenish the ground and vegetation. Love your backyard views. Thanks for joining in Fandango 🙂 🙂

More rain to come over the next week. As they say, when it rains, it pours.

Don’t I know about that! I would like some now actually before everything gets too dry

We’ve been in a severe drought for a number of years, so this rain, and especially in he snow in the mountains, is much needed.

Most rain in 24 hours I’ve seen since moving to the Bay Area 12 years ago.

Here I go again Fan. Sorry. Why ever did you put that post in the middle like that? Argh! Framing is important. You got the foreground right with green things and chair top. Just move to the left, frame right with post and umbrella, frame left with outside chairs and the eye focuses on the central garden and water feature. Ta dah. Photographer Don at your service………

Note the instructions in Brian’s prompt:
“No editing — who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like, or the subject matter didn’t cooperate?” I was just following instructions. If you have a bone to pick, take it up with Brian! 🤪
