It’s December 24, 2022. Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).
Today’s word is “blanket.”
Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.
Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.
And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. Show them some love.

It was Christmas Eve night,
and all through the house,
the wrapping of presents,
for his wife, Mrs mouse.
He wrapped the sausage blanket,
with a greatest of grins,
A meal shared with family,
everyone wins.
Merry Christmas, have a great holidays.

All’s well that ends well, as they say.

We, earlier this week, added an electric blanket — in addition to our sheets, fluffy comforter, and golden light-middle-blanket (whereas that one ends up totally on his side and the comforter ends up totally on her side). The electric mechanism has heat controls, in app, for two separate sides. I still haven’t switched my side on. Some of every night, I push everything off of me. Anyway, the texture of this thing is soft and cozy. I’m happy with it (while I didn’t select it).

Gosh I’m late today Fan. Chrissy shopping with little Billy. He still believes in Santa. The fat jolly man. Was devastated to hear some prick here calling to ban fat Santas. Shit and blanket to him I say. Now you’re wondering why on earth I shower him with a ‘shit and blanket’. Read on:
ODE TO BLANKET
I now choose to say blanket
Instead of shit and fuck it
It does sound more respectable
Than fuck it, shit (go suck it)
Blanket…..suck it and see Fan
