It’s December 22, 2022. Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).
Today’s word is “hardship.”
Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.
Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.
And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. Show them some love.

so much too much
hardship and sorrow
in this world
please be kind and generous
to those who need your help
no matter how insignificant or small
your gesture and contribution may seem
it is valued and important
Merry Christmas everyone !

I don’t usually listen to this podcast, but the presenter/host focuses in this episode on the hardship we face now, have been facing, and will be dealing with as enshrined on January 3rd, 2023. I thought this (along with the physical attack on her the Speaker’s, husband) could be why Nancy Pelosi decided to no longer serve in an official position of leadership — as the majority leader trying to interact with people like that in a governing body.
There will be, ten percent, these traitors in the Senate too.
