FOWC with Fandango — Sinister

It’s December 19, 2022. Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).

Today’s word is “sinister.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. Show them some love.

    Two opposing words
    Sorry, ode tonight Fan is
    Damnably absurd

    Ab-surd and judicious
    Opposites they be
Ode I’m going to end now Fan
    Ha ha ho ho hee

    Not quite……

    Judicious and (yep) luscious
    Completely different words
    I like luscious lovelies
    Think I need to stop….

I think stopping at this point is a grand idea, Don! 😉

    there was something
    sinister about him
    with his repugnant ignorant demeanour
whiny voice and wispy carrot hair
all he was missing was a long tail horns and a pitchfork
    let’s hope he never returns

      He’s still out there.
      He should be behind bars
      At the very least
      Covered in feathers and tars.
