Cellpic Sunday — 11/27/22

John Steiner, the blogger behind Journeys With Johnbo, has this prompt he calls Cellpic Sunday in which he asks us to post a photo that was taken with a cellphone, tablet, or another mobile device. I thought this might be fun so I decided to join in.

I had to go way back to a photo I took on November 23, 2012, just over ten years ago, for this week’s Cellpic Sunday featured photo. This photo was taken with my iPhone (probably, based upon the date it was taken, on my iPhone 6) atop Strawberry Hill at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. I was facing north, and you can see the two towers of the Golden Gate Bridge and the hills just across the San Francisco Bay.

            They seem to be targeting Ruggers and you, Yes indeed WTF?

            Put it thru my alien decoder a few days ago gave a suggested ‘decode’ on TT&TO a few days ago. I got divisional director of some water board (ltr = litre) heading to > …earth? Scary Fan. Ruggers and you could be in for a visit . I’m sure they’re friendly. Didn’t jam my decode machine

            You can see I’m filling in Covid waste time with waste again

            Hope Rugby don’t get upset with Ruggers. Just say Aussies are like that. No consideration……. add, but a heart of gold.

    A god photo Fan with the bridge towers being the target image. I would have liked to see a bit of foliage framing sky at top for balance. That’s just me……

        You know how I feel about Photoshop. Pure antipathy. How fake can you get. I’m a purist as you know from previous of your works. N o, just remember for next time.

        I used to do a lot of ‘tography in my youth. Old clunk clunk SLR. Still have. Lovely sound. Must get back. Developing . Enlarging.

        I remember solarization. Did I do any? Can’t remember…..

          Don’t worry, Don. I don’t have Photoshop on my iPhone and wouldn’t know how to use it if I did. Maybe I’ll go back to the scene of the crime. No doubt some foliage has grown so that I could better frame the GGB.

    Beautiful golden hour image. It does have a nostalgic look of a film image rather than digital.
