“I think our eyes were bigger than our stomachs,” Sandra said. “We ordered way too much food.”

“There’s no law that you have to eat everything they put on the table, although I must confess it all looks so spectacular,” Jenny said.

“I don’t know which dish is my favorite,” Marianne said. “My intent is to sample a mix of everything.”

Karen reached over to grab the waffle plate. “Hey girl,” Andrea said, “we’re sharing, so get your selfish hand away from that waffle.”

“I concur,” Sandra said. “No way you’re going to hog that waffle.”

“Fine,” Karen said. “Don’t get your panties in a bunch. “There’s plenty here for everyone.”

“Okay, girls,” Jenny said. “Hold up your mimosas ladies, and let’s toast one another and give thanks for the good food, and the company of good friends.”
