    Mae West, ah one of the naughty vixens of her time – l wonder if she was happy with her lifestyle to only have one life chance. She certainly knew how to talk the talk and walk the walk and bed the men too 🙂

      Clara Bow, another naughty vixen of her time. Refused to sign morality clause in contracts. Studios put morality clauses into actors’ contracts so that scandals wouldn’t tarnish their reputation and hurt their box office appeal.

          Must have been hard for them. Vaguely read Clara was a big girl which hindered her from getting contracts. Why can’t they take me as I am? …….A common thing even today. Why do i have to conform to what you want to get somewhere? Give me a chance for what I am……
